A commemorative event dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the great Master of Armenian cinema, the famous film director and screenwriter Albert Mkrtchyan was held by the joint initiative of the National Cinema Center of Armenia and Yerevan State University's "Charles Aznavour Cultural Center".
The director's film THE MERRY BUS - a touching and beautiful story of people who survived the tragedy of the Spitak earthquake, was screened for the YSU students.
Prior to the screening, the students were familiarized with the creative path of the Master and had a Q/A meeting with the director's son Mher Mkrtchyan, also a film director and screenwriter.
The anniversary of the beloved film director served as another occasion to return to his warm and humane films and remember about universal values which Albert Mkrtchyan had been bringing forward in his films.
