Many of the visitors of the exhibition, which was dedicated to Rudolf Vatinyan's 80th anniversary, used to know him and, of course, could recognize his unique style. The exhibition, which embraced a selection of about 40 photographs, was meant to introduce Vatinyan's Art Photography as a remarkable phenomenon in Armenian Contemporary Art and Culture of the 1960s and 80s.
Organized upon the initiative of the National Cinema Center of Armenia, a ceremonial opening of the exhibition "Rudolf Vatinyan’s Portrait Photography of 1960-80s" kicked off today and will last until 15 January. The exhibition was preceded by Rudolf Vatinyan’s Fame Star opening ceremony, initiated and implemented by the Union of Cinematographers of Armenia and "Golden Apricot" IFF.
The exhibition is implemented with the support of the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports; activities were coordinated by Vigen Galstyan, NCCA's Head of Heritage Department.
