Eurimages is the cultural support fund of the Council of Europe. Established in 1989, it currently numbers 39 out of 47 states of the Strasbourg based organization plus Canada as Associate Member (quoted from www.coe.int). |
Armenia joined Eurimages in January, 2016 gaining the following advantages: Armenia is involved in the European film production network, becomes visible as a film-producing country and receives an opportunity to penetrate the European film market with its film product. Eurimages also supports the development of cinemas and local distribution networks.The Armenian national representatives in Eurimages ensure our country’s active participation in Board of Management meetings.
The following Armenian film co-production projects were approved by the Eurimages Board of Management and received financial support.

In 2020 Si le vent tombe/ SHOULD THE WIND DROP was in the official selection of 73rd edition of Cannes International Film Festival and ACID Cannes program
