On the initiative of the Armenian Film Foundation and staff members of the Criminal-Executive Institution, Hayk Ordyan's film Zulali was recently screened at the Ministry of Justice's "Abovyan" Criminal-Executive Institution in Armenia.
The film was selected following discussions of Narine Abgaryan's novel, which served as the basis for the film. Zulali was received with great enthusiasm and warmth, followed by a meeting with members of the creative team, including director Hayk Ordyan and lead actress Hermine Stepanyan. During this session, Hayk Ordyan shared insights into the background of the film and discussed some challenges encountered during filming.
In the second part of the event, the animated film Alma's Soul, directed by Sarah Naves and provided by the organizers of the international animation festival "ReAnimania," was shown and watched with great interest. The purpose of the event was to contribute to the effective use of the free time of disenfranchised women and to introduce them to cultural life, with plans for continuous engagement.
