The state non-commercial organization, the "National Cinema Center of Armenia," was reorganized into the Cinema Foundation of Armenia.
By the decision of the RA Government, the state non-commercial organization, the "National Cinema Center of Armenia," was reorganized into the Cinema Foundation of Armenia, with Davit Banuchyan appointed as its acting director.
On that occasion, RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan and Deputy Minister Daniel Danielyan visited the Cinema Foundation of Armenia, where the new head of the organization was introduced to the staff. Accompanied by Davit Banuchyan, the Minister toured the Foundation, talked with the working team, and got acquainted with the upcoming plans and tasks of the structure.
Congratulating the newly appointed director Davit Banuchyan on taking over the management of the organization, Zhanna Andreasyan noted that managing the successor foundation of Hayfilm, which has 100 years of traditions and experience, is a serious commitment and responsibility. "I am sure that you will continue this work together with the Foundation team with great success and record new accomplishments. Our expectations from the cinema sector are very high, and the legislative changes made in recent years open new prospects for development," said the Minister.
Davit Banuchyan, the newly appointed head of the Foundation, in turn, thanked the Minister for the trust and the opportunity, noting that it is a great honor to take over the management of the Cinema Foundation of Armenia, which is the successor of the historical "Hayfilm" with a hundred years of film heritage and traditions.
