The National Cinema Center of Armenia hosted an award ceremony for the winners of the all-Armenian school competition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Sergei Parajanov and the 120th anniversary of Aram Khachatryan, announced by the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport.
Prizes were awarded to the following films: "Pupriks," created by students of the educational centers of Taragir Armenians: Galustian National College (Egypt), "Let's Save the Values so that the Values Save Us," presented by the "Hay Aspet" School and Educational Charitable Foundation after Menua Hovhannisyan, "Crazy Old Man Painting Flowers," presented by Yerevan Secondary School N.113 named after N. Khachatryan (animation), "Shades of Art," by the “Yerevak” Educational Complex (animation).
Shushanik Mirzakhanyan, the director of the National Cinema Center of Armenia, warmly welcomed the attendees and emphasized the significance of the active participation by schoolchildren in the competition dedicated to honoring our elders.
Karen Mnatsakanyan, the Head of the Diaspora and Foreign Relations department at the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, along with Vardan Abovyan, the Deputy Director of the Cinema Center and a member of the competition committee, presented the awards to the representatives of the winning educational centers.
