On January 9, 2024, the 100th anniversary of Sergey Parajanov will be celebrated. Within the framework of the day, events marking the 100th anniversary of Sergey Parajanov are being launched with the support of the RA MօESCS.
The "Gioconda. Transformations" exhibition along with screenings of the master's films will take place in the Small Hall of the Cinema House throughout the day.
On the same day, at 18:00, a concert featuring Parajanov motifs will be held at the Sergey Parajanov Museum, with the participation of soloists from the "Gurdjiev" and "Berekamutyun" ensembles.
Admission is free.
The jubilee of Sergei Parajanov is included in the UNESCO Calendar of Anniversaries of Eminent Personalities and Important Events for the 2024-2025 cycle.
A Governmental Jubilee Committee has been established to organize the jubilee events.
