From October 24 to 27, the Armenian Cine-Century regional program was hosted in the Vayots Dzor region, the towns of Jermuk, Gndevaz, Vayk, Vernashen and Getap. As a reminder of the cinematic heritage left by the great masters of national cinema, a selection of distinguished Armenian films was presented to the cinema enthusiasts.
Another surprise awaited the audience of the town of Vayk. The 85th anniversary of the composer and jazz musician Martin Vardazaryan was celebrated in the Vayk House of Culture. Martin Vardazaryan is an artist whose name is equally associated with both music and national cinema, he is the author of music for more than 40 films. At the anniversary event, the artist’s creative path was presented and the film “Hello, It’s Me,” featuring the music composed by Martin Vardazaryan, was screened.
