On June 15-22, 2023, the Vancouver Cinematheque will host the «Armenian Cinema Days» program dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Armenian cinema. The program includes the films of Hamo Beknazaryan, Yuri Yerznkyan, Frunze Dovlatyan, Henrik Malyan, Sergey Parajanov, Bagrat Hovhannisyan, Atom Egoyan, Maria Sahakyan, Harutyun Khachatryan and Diana Kardumyan. The project is implemented with the support of the National Cinema Center of Armenia and the Armenian Cultural Society of British Columbia.
It should also be noted that the new musical score for Hamo Beknazaryan's silent film "Yerkir Nairi" was also created in the framework of the mentioned cooperation.
Arsine Khanjyan and Atom Egoyan will attend the event, and Atom Egoyan will present the program.
