The feature film Men by Edmond Keosayan, translated into Spanish by fourth-year students of the Spanish-Armenian Translation Department at Brusov State University (BSU), was screened in the university’s main hall under the guidance of the lecturer R. Petrosyan. BSU’s Rector, D. Gyurjinyan, opened the event, emphasizing its role in promoting cultural exchange and enhancing ties between Armenia and Spanish-speaking communities. He highlighted Armenia's rich cinematic heritage, expressing hope that the film would spark new interest in Armenian culture.
Davit Banuchyan, the director of the Cinema Foundation of Armenia, also addressed the audience, thanking the students and underlining the significance of this collaborative initiative, expressing his commitment to its future development.
Honored guests attended the screening, including Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uruguay to Armenia E.A.R. Bidart, the diplomatic representative of the Dominican Republic in Armenia, S. Santana, and Argentina’s Consul General in Armenia, K. N. P. Castillo. The event concluded with an Armenian-style reception hosted at the Argentinian Center.
