We are thrilled to announce that "Save the Dead" (working title "In the Land of Aram"), a French-Armenian full-length feature debut by Tamara Stepanyan, has received support at the second Eurimages Project Evaluation Session of 2024!
The National Cinema Center of Armenia congratulates Tamara Stepanyan and all the creative team on this wonderful achievement and extends best wishes for their continued success.
Further to recommendations made by independent experts, the Executive Committee of the Fund has decided to support the co-production of 31 feature films, including 6 documentaries and 3 animations. Of the 31 co-production projects supported during the session, 13 are to be directed or co-directed by women. This represents 49.54% of the total funding awarded.
Note: The film project also received state financial support from the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, the National Cinema Center of Armenia.
