The performance Hovhannes Tumanyan’s Fairy Tales was staged in 1981 by the renowned theater and film director Henrik Malyan. The performance staged in Malyan's unique style, is full of national force and flavor, perhaps that is the reason why it has always been highly appreciated in various foreign countries.
The play participated in a number of international theater festivals in Egypt, France, Romania, Iran and Germany, it toured in Latvia, Estonia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Syria, Lebanon, France, Canada, it was staged in almost all regions of Armenia. Hovhannes Tumanyan’s Fairy Tales won the main awards in 8 categories at the international theater festival held in Iran.
The performance is targeted for children from 3 to 93 years old.
